About MCP Compare
MCP Compare is an independent platform dedicated to reviewing and comparing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. Our mission is to help developers find the right MCP servers for their AI assistants.
The MCP ecosystem is growing rapidly, with thousands of servers available. But most directories just list them — they don't tell you which ones are actually good, secure, and well-maintained. That's where we come in.
Methodology
Each MCP server on our platform is evaluated on the following criteria:
- Overall Score (1-10): A composite of features, ease of use, documentation quality, and community adoption.
- Security Score (1-10): Evaluates data access requirements, code quality, and responsible disclosure practices.
- Pricing Tier: Free, Freemium, or Paid — based on publicly available information.
- Official Status: Whether the server is maintained by the service provider or a third party.
Scores are updated periodically as servers evolve. We track GitHub activity, community feedback, and our own testing to keep ratings current.
We are not affiliated with Anthropic, GitHub, or any MCP server provider. This is an independent project.

MCP Compare provides information about MCP servers for informational purposes. We do not host or distribute MCP server code. All information is provided "as is" without warranty.
We do not collect personal data beyond standard web analytics. No cookies are used for tracking purposes.
